When you should use lifting equipment?
You should use lifting equipment when the necessity arises and when a job dictates to you that a lifting platform will simply not be adequate to do the job. Lifting equipment refers to such things as beams, hoists and winches and thus it is used when heavy items need to be moved over quite long distances, perhaps from one end of a workplace to another, or simply up and then along slightly in a warehouse; such movement means that a platform or lift which can only raise up or down would not get the heavy or bulky loads to their proper destination and man-power would have to be employed.
Lifting equipment ensures that you can have a more flexible, and a much safer approach, to how you move things around your place of work. Thus, if you regularly have to move heavy items, such as on a building site, and it would be highly inappropriate to put in a lift, lifting equipment could and should most definitely be used. Talk to your chosen company and they will be able to help you find a solution which is suitable for you.
