When is a car scissor lift suitable?
Car scissor lifts are suitable, quite obviously, for use in garages and mechanics workshops- but in such spaces where space is at a premium. Because scissor lifts are collapsible, you can save lots of space by being able to simply fold away the hydraulic lifting arm; perfect for cramped conditions or even for a job which you may have had to drive out to.
Car scissor lifts are also suitable for larger cars as the vehicle can be driven onto the lift via a ramp and then lifted into the air- once more this makes it an incredibly flexible piece of machinery which can be used in a variety of different places. Car scissor lifts can also be lowered down via a manual system and thus, if there were a power failure in your garage or mechanics workshop, you would still be able to lower down a car and store it safely until your power was restored. For larger garages, more permanently fixed lifts may be suitable but, for transient places or indeed for places where space is at a premium, car scissor lifts can be highly suitable and advantageous.
