What is a scissor lift table?
A scissor lift table is, essentially, exactly what it sounds like. Clearly, this doesn’t answer your question though and so we may as well go into a little bit more detail and make things a little clearer for you. The table in question refers to the flat top of the lift which is where the person, or the goods being transported, would be, the scissor lift then extends itself, pushing up the platform or the “table” and allowing great distances to be covered with relative speed and ease. They are amongst the most common form of scissor lift table and are used with a great degree of success in many different businesses and industries. The person on the “table” or platform can control the scissor lift and thus dictate how high they go or how fast but also there are controls down at the bottom and this means that, if the lift is being used to move inanimate objects, the lift can still be controlled correctly without the need for a human presence on the table- this can greatly reduce the man power needed and increase efficiency at the same time.
