Can I save money buying a used forklift?

You can certainly save money buying a used forklift, or perhaps that should read, you can save money initially by buying a used forklift, it is the costs which come further down the line that you need to be concerned about.  A used forklift will clearly have seen more wear and tear and thus you may well find that there is quite a lot wrong with it; probably small and almost unnoticeable things which all add up into a bigger problem- money. You are going to have to spend money to get your used forklift up to scratch and then you are probably going to have to keep spending money in order to keep it running smoothly and keep up with the servicing which is no doubt going to  be needed.

You can save money initially, but in the long run it is certainly a different question. Also, depending on how old your forklift is, there may well need to be changes which are made in order to bring it up to current health and safety regulations; this all costs money and thus, when it gets right down to it, buying a used model might not save you that much money.
