How do I get a quote for passenger lift repair?
Every problem with every lift is unique and thus there is no way to average or guess at what kind of costs you might face for certain problems which might occur with your lift. The best way to ascertain costs, as with any repair job, is to try and get a quote; there is no better way to do this than to go to various companies and explain your problem. They will either send someone out to look at the job or, by assessing the problem over the phone, they may be able to give you a rough estimated price there and then. Don’t just go with the 1st company though, just because it’s the 1st price which you are quoted, always shop around and try to get as many different costings as possible- a company may even drop their prices if they know a rival is saying they can do the job for cheaper.
Go to the company who provided you the lift in the 1st place, if they themselves cannot do the repair they may well have a partner company whom they can pass your trade onto and this, too, could result in a decreased price.
