Q. Does the installation of a fixed platform lift for wheelchairs require more than 24 hours of access to the property to where it is being installed?

A. Peter,Innovate lifting Systems will arrange for the times of install to suit you. Generally speaking a plaftorm lift, once delivered to site, of up to 3 floors can be installed within one working day. All of our lifts – platform lifts, incline platform lifts, dumbwaiters, goods lifts and step lifts can be installed within one working day. For larger projects, more time may be needed.Regards

Q. Am I required to produce any form of documentation or certification about the safety of my installed platform lift before use? Would you supply this after fitting the lift?
A. Innovate Lifting Systems would provide the CE certificate of conformity for you along with user manuals. Training for you and your family / staff is also included.This is true for all of our products – platform lifts, dumb waiters, step lifts, passenger lifts and inclined platform lifts

Innovate Lifting systems when dealing with platform lifts, inclined platform lifts & goods lifts work to the following times scales:From the customer signing off construction drawings to delivery 4 weeks then Instalation 1 day per three floors.For a dumbwaiter allow 1 week for delievery then 1 day for instalaltionFor a passenger lift allow 6 weeks for delivery and 1 day + 1 day per floor instalation

Q. In the event of a power-cut, how will the wheel chair lift respond? Is there a battery back up?
A. Hello,Every person carrying lift installed by Innovate Lifting Systems can have battery back up installed as a standard upgrade. This is true for inclined lifts, passenger lifts and through floor lifts. The battery is normally only used to finish off the journey interupted by the power cut, saving any charge for an emergency. More batteries can be fitted though.
