Q. I want to fit a dumb waiter but im very pushed for space. Are there any codes or space requirements in front of the door openings I need to be aware of?

A. Our dumbwaiter lifts have stainless steel rise and fall shutters which will not affect the space in front of the lift itself. If you would like to see photographs / details, please contact us and we will forward them for your perusal.

Q. My dumbwaiter is consistently breaking down mainly due to its age but it can also be overloaded at busy times. The lift was fitted over 10 years ago so it may need to be replaced but I am working within a budget so it all depends on how much this will all cost. Can we replace the lift and enable it to take more weight but still use some of the existing fittings to keep costs down?
