Q. Can you tell me about some of the features that come standard on your dumbwaiters?
A. All of our lifts are supplied in stainless steel as standard, this includes landing doors, car doors, cabin, internal shelf and also the access door to the motor room.A one year warranty is also standard with our dumbwaiters.

Q. Our premises are in the Cumbria area and we are prone to flooding every so often. Can we install a automatic pump into the service lift shaft in case it happens again?
A. If we were to install one of our lifts, there would be a space below the bottom entrance to install a pump as described.We can also offer a pit access door as part of the manufacture process to allow for easy access to this area.Many thanks

A. We can offer a heated shelf which is controlled by a thermostat dial, this is supplied to many of our customers in the restaurant, pub and hotel sector.

Q. Is it okay to store items in the cab of the service lift for long periods when it is not in use?

Q. Hey, Do service lifts require a motor room or space for a motor room? How much space would be needed?
A. The motor room on our lifts is positioned on top of the self supporting structure, therefore there is no additional motor room required. We generally require around 2500mm headroom on the top floor level in order to accomodate this however, if 2500mm is not available we can offer a bespoke solution to a minimum of 2100mm headroom.Alternatively an under driven option is available at an additional cost. We position the motor room at the bottom of the shaft which vastle reduces the headroom requirement in turn.

Q. Can a service lift be installed so that it opens on one side at one level and the other side at a different level?
A. This is an extremely common configuration and is possible to manufacture. There are several arrangements that we can offer depending on your needs/requirements. All of our lifts come complete with stainless steel cabin doors to ensure all items stay inside the cabin during travel. This eliminates the chance of breakdowns. Many thanks.

Q. Is a drain required at the bottom of the dumbwaiter shaft in the event of a spillage, if so what size should it be?
A. A drain isn’t a requirement however should you wish to have a drain in place, there would not be an issue. This would need to be in a central position in the base of the shaft as the structure would sit on the outer perimeter of the shaft. Thank you for your question
