How do portable car lifts work?
Portable car lifts work in much the same way as their permanent siblings; it’s just that they do it on a much smaller scale. The smallest examples of a portable car lift, or portable lifting equipment are things such as car jacks, but mobile ramps and mobile lifts are also available and have revolutionized how we can treat accidents and breakdowns in the modern world; the main effect has been that more cars are put back onto the road much more quickly and that everything is kept running much more smoothly than it ever was before.
Portable car lifts can either have their own driving mechanism (if they are quite large) or they will fold away and be able to be carried easily in another vehicle (such as the scissor lift types of car lift which can fold down in a concertina like effect) Portable car lifts can either work on the principle of hydraulics or some of them may well be powered by either electricity or diesel but, for most models, it will be former rather than the latter. Talk to your chosen company to ascertain whether a portable car lift will be suitable for your company.
