Is it possible to find a company that offers lifting equipment hire?
In short, yes it should be fairly easy to get your hands on some hired lifting equipment. If you have a job which doesn’t warrant you jumping in to making an expensive purchase then this could well be a much more satisfactory alternative. Hiring lift equipment is a great option for, perhaps, building sites which need temporary assistance in order to finish one particular part of their project or for warehouses which need to move more stock around during a particularly busy time (such as Christmas for example). Many more companies, particularly in these difficult economic times, are turning towards the hiring of lifting equipment as a way of saving money and also increasing their productivity and output.
If you already have lifting equipment but want to rent some more then try talking to the same company; oftentimes the bigger suppliers will offer rentals as well as complete purchases. However, some of the smaller companies you may deal with are likely to be much more specialized and will thus only offer hire or purchase but not both. When hiring, you should also see whether your chosen company will fit the equipment for you.
