Is a hydraulic scissor lift suitable?

This question, which gets asked frequently when this topic comes up, begs the question, suitable for what? Whether or not a hydraulic lift is suitable will all depend on what kind of job it is which you need doing- trying to comment without knowing further details would not be wise as misinformation could well be given. Hydraulic scissor lifts are great for lifting heavy objects with lifts which aren’t overly big and are also great for when you’re out and about and on the move as they have self-contained mechanisms which don’t require diesel or electricity to run them. If this sounds like the sorts of jobs which you intend to use your scissor lift for then, most certainly, it could well be suitable.

If you only have a very small scissor lift and it is located in your warehouse and only does small jobs then perhaps a hydraulic solution would not be best; talk with your supplier- they will be best placed to recommend you a scissor lift solution which best suits your needs and your performance requirements. Don’t get hung up on one type or another- go with what is best for your business.
