What is a hydraulic lift table?
This is one of the most popular forms of hydraulic lifting equipment. You will no doubt have seen them either in your own company or somewhere on the streets; they have single-handedly revolutionized a lot of industries. You will likely have seen the hydraulic lift table protected by substantial retractable bollards; this is because the lift table is designed for situations when a loading bank or raised dock is not readily available. It has a hydraulically operated bridge plate and also generally has barrier rails and interlocking gates; vehicles from pallet trucks to fork trucks can be accommodated depending on the actual size of the lift in question.
The lift is protected from the dangerous build-up of debris which could occur in an industrial setting by mesh, corrugated curtains which run around the sides of the lift; this makes the maintenance and cleaning of the hydraulic lift table much easier than it otherwise could be. For relatively small loads, which always need to be lifted from the same position, a hydraulic lift table can make a huge difference and is certainly well worth the investment of getting one fitted.
