How often should I get a goods lift serviced?
Every lift, and every company which has one, is unique and thus this is a question which cannot be answered with a simple block response. Like anything, the life and health of a product will be directly related to how often that product is used and how much weight you attempt to load into it at any one time. You should talk with the supplier of your lift when you first enter into an agreement to buy one and talk through what they believe will be the best service plan to fit your lift and what you will be using it for.
Some lift companies will be able to supply you with servicing as well where as some, more specialized companies, may well be able to recommend someone to you who will be able to carry out the service. A goods lift will simply rumble on in the background of your company and you are highly unlikely to even notice it until it’s not working anymore. To avoid this happening, and to avoid unnecessary disruption and loss of profits to your company, get any niggling problems checked out immediately as well.
