What is the best way to find out about escalator cleaning?

Clearly, with such a large, dramatic piece of engineering, cleaning is always going to pose somewhat of a problem but it also going to be essential if your escalator is going to remain working properly and remain safe. Many companies will now use machines on contracted jobs in order to speed up the process and give the best possible finish. Obviously, these ‘robots’ still have to be manned and operated by people but it just saves having to get down on ones hands and knees with a shimmy cloth in order to get the desired finish.

There is always the dilemma of wanting to get a sparkling clean look without actually damaging the escalator or taking any of the finish from the steps. Steaming can sometimes be quite dangerous to escalator finishes, and aggressive scrubbing or hard brushing can only damage as well.  You need to be sure that the company you employ to clean the escalators is going to do so without damaging the powder coatings or scratching the surface. The cleaning should also be done at night to avoid any unnecessary disruption to the day-to-day functioning of your company or business.
