What are the different types of vehicle lift?

There are a plethora of different vehicle lifts out there on the market and it is not an overstatement to say that, without them and the help they provide to hundreds of mechanic and garage businesses every year, the industry would simply not be able to survive. The different types of vehicle lift which are out there all perform a slightly different task and do so for slightly different vehicles; specialist lifts exist to do the delicate jobs of  lifting certain types of bikes and smaller vehicles and every single vehicle which is out there will have a specialist type of lift to help lift it. You should sit down and decide what sort of lift is going to be best suited to your business; what sort of vehicles do you have to service regularly in your shop?

There are lifts which are huge and are fixed permanently in their place but there are also more mobile scissor versions which would be much more suited to working within the confines of a small space or if you are a mobile business. Make sure you choose a vehicle lift that is right for you!
