What are the different types of elevator service?
There are many different ways in which you can keep your elevator running smoothly. Full elevator service is one which will examine every aspect of your product and ensure that everything is working as it should do. However, obviously, there are going to be times when one area needs servicing over another. The mechanism, most likely hydraulic, will need to be checked regularly to ensure that your lift is working as efficiently and safely as possible. However this is a different type of service than the much more simple, but no less important, cleaning and maintaining of the inside of the elevator car to make sure it is fit to be used by the passengers who wish to make use of it.
The technical panel in the elevator car itself will also need servicing. This panel is vital so that passengers within the car can choose their destination and also so they can signal for help if they should get into trouble or distress whilst using the elevator. Something else, which is slightly away from service, is emergency procedures; these should be regularly rehearsed so that any passengers who become trapped can be rescued quickly and easily.
