What are the different types of disabled lift?

It is now the case that having fair and easy access for the disabled is not just a moral obligation; it is now a legal imperative. This means that many people and many businesses now have to consider how they are going to regulate access to their premises; one of the best ways to do this, especially with premises which are set over several floors or include awkward stairs, is to put in a disabled lift. Of course, though, not all lifts will suit all situations and thus there are a plethora of different lifts out there to choose from.

There is the platform lift which is a great solution for distances which might not be so great. If much greater spaces need to be covered then the best solution is probably a passenger lift which will be able to quickly and safely transport people between floors; another alternative to the platform lift is a wheelchair-specific platform lift.

Disabled lifts can also be fitted into people’s homes to make life easier for those living everyday with a physical disability. Decide which type of lift would best suit your business and your needs and then proceed.
