What are the differences between the different lifting platforms?
This really depends on what sort of lifting platforms you are looking at- some of them will have aesthetic differences, some will have mechanical differences and some will simply be designed to do a completely different task to another one. One of the main differences which you will find between the lifting platforms is how much weight they can lift; some are designed to be used in industrial situations, to lift up people and goods to different levels and thus, as such, they are much sturdier and stronger than some of the other lifting platforms which you may find on the market.
Others will be designed to take the different weights of various pushchairs or wheelchairs in public places whereas some will be fitted in a private dwelling and thus will only be designed to take the weight of the specific individual user.
Most of the differences which you are likely to find, however, are really going to be aesthetic ones; the lifting platform is something which is incredibly versatile in terms of how it can be presented and enclosed- thus, for private use, they can look quite clean and plain whereas for public use they can look very grand.
