What are the average curved stair lift prices?
Curved stair lifts often turn out to be more expensive simply because there is a greater degree of difficulty which goes into making and installing them and many have to be specifically worked around your own staircase in order to give you the best possible fit and performance. Curved stair lifts can make life much easier for people but they are a huge financial purchase to undertake, with many coming in at anything from £1500 to £3000. Again, these prices are so much higher than those of straight stair lifts because of the more complex nature of a curved stair lift.
There is, of course, always the option of going with a second hand curved stair lift but it may be hard to find one which will be suited to your particular stairs, particularly if they are quite unusual.
Going second hand could save you literally hundreds of pounds but, when you’ve paid out for fitting it and then the regular servicing which used models inevitably need you may well find that you would have been better getting a new model.Do your research in order to save money.
