Another thing which many people forget to consider at the offset is how they are going to train the people who will be using the access platforms and whether or not there is the necessary money there to pay for such training to be undertaken. Access platforms, in all their guises, are safe and easy to use, but, unsurprisingly, this is only if you know what you are doing. If you don’t they can be very unsafe and can pose a risk to your workers, your customers and your business. Thus you need to ensure that anybody who is going to be handling any sort of access platform is fully up to speed on what needs to done and how it should be done as well. It may seem like a pain to be paying out for training, especially if you have just paid out to get an access platform installed but it really is a case of pay now, or end up paying out much more further down the line.
